Description
Description
Renderoc LA55 is a high-performance, free-flowing, cementitious micro-concrete designed for the structural reinstatement of large and complex concrete sections. Its self-compacting, highly fluid nature allows it to be poured or pumped into restricted and congested areas without the need for vibration, making it ideal for inaccessible repair zones or areas with dense reinforcement.
Key Features:
-
Exceptional flow – designed for easy pumping or pouring without segregation
-
Self-compacting – eliminates honeycombing and ensures complete coverage without vibration
-
Dual expansion system – provides excellent control of plastic and drying shrinkage
-
Strong adhesion – bonds effectively to prepared concrete substrates without a primer
-
Low permeability – offers outstanding protection against chloride ingress and carbonation
-
Low alkali content – minimises risk of alkali-silica reaction (ASR)
-
High resistivity – suitable for electrochemical repairs and use with cathodic protection systems (e.g., Galvashield XP)
-
Protects embedded steel – alkaline formulation aids in corrosion resistance
-
Approved for use in contact with potable water – AS/NZS 4020:2005 compliant
Typical Uses:
-
Structural repairs to columns, beams, decks, and soffits
-
Reinstatement of large concrete sections in civil, marine, and infrastructure works
-
Repairs to ASR-affected concrete
-
Electrochemical repair applications and compatibility with sacrificial anode systems
